"Why should I trust the Bible?"
-
"Is sin really that big of a deal?"
-
"Why is God so concerned with rules?"
-
"Don’t all religions lead to God?"
Have you ever asked these questions? Or encountered them in conversations with friends or family? Here at NewSpring, we'd like to help you find these answers.
Starting Point is a casual conversation group of 10-16 people that meets once a week for 10 one-hour sessions. We talk about these and other questions our culture asks about faith, Jesus and the Bible. To get an idea of what we talk about, check out this MP3 entitled, How Good Is Good Enough? This is our conversation starter for Session One.
We also take a “Google earth” view of the Bible. We take a look from a “zoomed-out” perspective at the main theme and plot of the story that the Bible contains to give you a general context to help you as you read and study the Bible for yourself.
Interested? Join us for Starting Point Orientation on September 25/26 during each weekend service in the East Building, Room A. This is a great opportunity to check out materials and meet leaders with no obligation! Register below.
